FURNITURE SELECTION AND STYLING
Clerkenwell, London 2021

Situated in the Clerkenwell area, in the historical Paper mill building, the private two-bedroom apartment was furnished and styled following the client's desire to reuse some of his old furniture from the previous flat in Brooklyn. The approach was to combine the exposed brick walls and the old wooden floor with a palette of black, brown, and beige tones to create a warm environment.
To keep the flat organized for the daily habits and lifestyle of the client, bike hooks were installed on the main wall at the entrance, and the utility was entirely reorganized with heavy-duty shelving units. In the living room, the bookshelf is the most distinctive element, combined with a 100% bamboo rug and a black marble coffee table, which give a luxurious feeling to the space. All the framed pictures on the wall were selected from the client’s old collection. The bedrooms are left simple, featuring the exposed brick wall combined with soft and calm tones.
The kitchen opens into an inner courtyard where some of the old furniture were rearranged.
